Step 3 — Choose your department Department *

Departments follow the agency's eight-division structure; Mission Control is not open to application.

Step 4 — Your writing Statement of Interest (300–500 words) * Nonprofit Passion Essay (300–500 words) * Resume link (Google Drive, etc.)

Step 5 — Acknowledgments I understand one recommendation letter from a non-family adult is required and will arrange for it to be delivered to Dr. Lewis. I understand internships are unpaid, eligible for academic credit and a letter of recommendation, and that one completed semester in good standing is required before leadership eligibility. My parent/guardian is aware I am applying and can be contacted at the email above.

Submitting sends your application to LEEF's internship coordinator. You'll be contacted at the email you provided. LEEF is a 501(c)(3) public charity; internships are unpaid student positions across its student-powered programs.

How your information is handled. What you enter here is delivered by email to LEEF's internship coordinator and is used only to review your application and contact you and your parent or guardian. It is not sold, published, or shared with anyone outside LEEF. We do not ask for and will not store your district student ID number.
