Join Friends of LEEF100% of every gift reaches the mission. Our giving platform charges nonprofits nothing, so no processing fee is taken out of what you give. And high school interns run all three programs — so every dollar serves the children in the programs and trains the young leaders operating them.
Three programs, one arc: start the reader, grow the reader, grow the leader.
A year-round literacy program where children climb an earned reading achievement ladder toward book vending machine rewards.
A seasonal campaign delivering slippers and books each winter to students in need.
A leadership speaker series seating high school students at the table with accomplished leaders at Mesa's historic Falcon Field.
Membership is the steadiest. It is not the only one.
Become a Friend of LEEF for $25 a year or more. Annual members are what let us commit to a full school year of programming rather than one season at a time.
Collection drives need hosts. Events need hands. Reading programs need adults willing to sit down with a child and listen. Students who serve with LEEF log verified hours toward the Mesa Public Schools Honor for Excellence in Service Learning.
Businesses and schools join as collection partners each season, host a donation box, sponsor a delivery, or send a speaker to the Brown Bag Supper series. In-kind gifts of books and slippers are welcome and are receipted the same as cash.
Everything a donor should be able to check, in one place.
